oh my gosh! I can't even count the number of times I have called the city on this property. At least 4 times to make certain it is being taxed at the rate of 5% for abandoned properties. DCRA has been contacted by email and phone. Additionally, I periodically file service request forms. The owner apparently lives in Bloomingdale and is well aware that the neighbors are fed up....so, when will he/she do something.
It would make fabulous artist studios...don't you think?
The mayor is planning a walk through of Bloomingdale in the next couple of weeks. The tour will start at this building (1700 2nd Street) because of the number of complaints on this building. Complain more.
