Narcotics and Special Investigations Division Activity Report

(Washington, DC)  – The Metropolitan Police Department’s Narcotic Enforcement Unit, Gun Recovery Unit, and Criminal Interdiction Unit have announced recent arrests that have been made in cases in the District of Columbia.

Narcotic Enforcement Unit Arrests: 

·         On Wednesday, August 31, 2016, members conducted an operation in the 300 block of Rhode Island Avenue, Northwest. CCN: 16-147-003. The following persons were arrested:

o   26-year-old Michael Turner, of Northwest, DC, for Distribution of Synthetic Cannabinoids.

o   46-year-old Willie Barksdale, of Arlington, VA, for Distribution of Synthetic Cannabinoids.

o   43-year-old Richard Carrington, of Northwest, DC, for Distribution of Synthetic Cannabinoids.

 The Metropolitan Police Department continues to investigate these offenses.
