Construction Site Updates:
  • First Street NW Pumping Station Construction Site,
    beginning the week of April 8, 2019:
    • Mobilizing on Mt. Bethel Baptist Church parking lot at the intersection of Thomas Street NW and First Street NW.
    • Removing portions of the Rhode Island Avenue NW medians between North Capitol Street NW and 2nd Street NW.
  • Florida Avenue NW Construction Site,
    beginning the week of April 8, 2019:
    • Crews may begin conducting utility location on the east side of 3rd Street NW between Rhode Island Avenue NW and Florida Avenue NW. 3rd Street will remain open to traffic and the sidewalks will remain open to pedestrians.
    • Full mobilization on 3rd Street NW, which includes a full street closure between Rhode Island Avenue and Florida Avenue, will occur once the permit for the traffic signal change on Florida Avenue is completed. We will notify you of the new start date.
