VMP submitted documents after the McMillan hearing record was closed; Stronghold Civic Association asked that the record temporarily be reopened to allow its response to the post-hearing submissions; request was granted; Stronghold's comments were submitted & accepted last week by the Zoning Commission; you can read the Stronghold's submissions

Here you go:

The Zoning Commission (ZC) requested that Vision McMillan Partners (VMP) submit certain documents (including the Community Benefits Agreement) after the hearing record was officially closed -- thus providing no opportunity for community response to these submissions.

Note that the ZC plans on meeting regarding the McMillan Planned Unit Development (PUD) on Monday, 07-28-2014.

Last week, the Stronghold Civic Association sent the Zoning Commission a letter requesting that the record be temporarily reopened to allow its response to the post-hearing submissions.

The request was granted and the Stronghold response is now on IZIS.

Here is how to navigate to the Stronghold Civic Association submission (provided by Stronghold resident Kirby Vining).

Go to the Zoning IZIS page:

Then in the blank ‘search term’ type in: 13-14 and hit ‘go’ Under the ‘search results’ on the page that comes up, you’ll see down below ‘case number 13-14…’ and on the far right of that line ‘view details.’  Hit that ‘view details’.
On the page that comes up, on the box on the right side that says ‘case documents,’ a couple of inches down the page in that box in red it says ‘view full log.’ Hit that.  Now you’re looking at the first of 22 pages of documents.
See the thing at the top right where it says ‘viewing documents 1 to 50 of 1073?  At the extreme right you see three dots instead of a number after the digit 5.  Hit that and you’ll go to pages 6- 10…and so on, to the last page, which is page 22.

On page 22, at the bottom, the very last two entries are exhibit 840 (Request to Reopen the Record, from Stronghold) and 841 (Stronghold Civic Association’s Comments to the Draft Community Benefits Agreement).

Click on the far right side of either of these documents (or any in this case) and that document will be downloaded to your computer where you can see it, save it, rename it, send it out, etc.

They haven’t made this easy, have they?  I suspect this is intentional, to keep mere mortals from playing the very adult game of 'wreck your local zoning.’
