Get ready for spring on NorthCap!

Longer days and warmer weather are ahead...we can't wait! Our neighborhood has so much to help you get ready for spring. Here are five ways you can prep for the new season (more)

Let's get outdoors!

Eckington Parks & Arts is holding a Members Meeting on Monday, March 15th at 7pm. The meeting is open to the public. This month, there will be special guest speakers from DC Natives to discuss the native plants and horticulture in Alethia Tanner Park.

JOIN THE MEETING
(Meeting ID: 811 1320 7177; Passcode: 662612).

Neighborhood Cleanups:
March 13: BACA's neighborhood cleanup begins at 1pm. It will start at Florida Ave. Park and focus on 1st Street and Bates Street.

March 20: Eckington Parks & Arts and Eckington Civic Association's cleanup begins at 9am. Neighbors are encouraged to clean up around their block and post their success photos to social media. Include the tag @eckingtonparks.

Community COVID-19 Resources

Did you know that you had neighborhood resources in public health? Last month, we hosted a webinar addressing questions from our community members about the new COVID-19 vaccines. Our featured presenters were Dr. Tamara A. Henry and Dr. Emily R. Smith, both neighbors from 1st Street NW and professors at the Milken Institute of Public Health at George Washington University. They were joined by Zulikhat Segunmaru, a 4th year Doctor of Pharmacy Candidate and intern at North Capitol Pharmacy (1516 North Capitol Street NW). Watch the webinar recording and get caught up on the discussion.

Your Neighborhood Pharmacy

North Capitol Pharmacy is working to acquire the vaccines and is making a plan to offer vaccine appointments. They also have a variety of resources to answer your questions. Drop in to chat with Dr. John Forson and his team, or visit them online at www.northcapitolpharmacy.com. (image: North Capitol Pharmacy) (Back To Top)

 Do you ❤️NorthCap?

In lieu of our Annual Meeting & Party, which would have been in February, we're doing an "I ❤️NorthCap" social media campaign to share what we love about our neighborhood.

Join us by sharing your favorite view, place to walk your pup, place for your kids to play, or even share a memory from a #NorthCap event like Art All Night. Tag us
@northcapitoldc on Twitter, Facebook, or Instagram.
