I'll never step inside this place even though I live a few blocks away. I'll walk across RI Ave to Windows for wine, and I'll buy liqour in another neighborhood.
Bloomingdale needs to shed about 95% of its existing liqour stores. I will not patronize any of them.
The "Bloomingdale Center" site would be a great location for many times of businesses other than a liqour store.
I agree with the statement that Bloomingdale needs less liquor and more "anything else," but actually this is a real liquor store. They have a good selection, and though I too always go to Windows for beer or wine (well, I generally get my wine elsewhere, but in a pinch...) I do go there for liquor. Pretty decent people too- if you can get a word in to them through the plexiglass...
