Bloomingdale Farmers Market

Bloomingdale Farmers Market

  1. As a 3 year resident of Bloomingdale, I've enjoyed the progressive growth of the neighborhood into just that, a neighborhood. Part of that growth has been the seasonal Farmers Market. I've been a loyal supporter of both the Big Bear Cafe and the Bloomingdale Farmers market. I will however no longer support either. Regardless of the legitimacy for having my car parked on the block of the Farmers Market on a Sunday, the vandalization to my car was unacceptable. I received my parking ticket and will pay without hesitation or question. I myself will no longer frequent either the Big Bear Cafe or the Farmers Market. I will not longer recommend either the Big Bear Cafe or the Bloomingdale Farmers Market to friends. And finally I will share with my fellow Bloomingdale residents my experience regarding the integrity of the participants of the Bloomingdale Farmers Market.

  2. its unclear to me what happened to you.
it sounds as though you are accusing the farmers market of vandalizing your car.

what does this have to do with the big bear?

  3. How did you know it was the farmers? Did they key "Farmer's Rule, Washingtonians drool" in the side of your car? Nonetheless, I am sorry to hear that your car was vandalized, but you've given no proof for your accusation. There is a market manager employed by the District that this can be taken up with. The parking bit is annoying, but the parking in DC as a whole is very annoying.

  4. Does anyone know the name of the Peach/Apple farm that frequents the Bloomingdale farmer's market?
