I have no idea, but I'm hoping that anyone who would spend the time to do the detail painting on the eaves would be putting something in besides a typical neighborhood carry-out. I'm hopeful :-)
saw this on the cityslurp blog: I have seen inside 1830 First St NW.I know the owner and he is looking for a tenant. The inside is an empty space, all new ceiling and walls. He just painted the exterior a purple, with orange and green accents. All the businesses there are getting a facelift. It is about 22'x45' with a basement and a 15' front yard for tables, perfect for your eat in pizza place. contact me for owners info; joedc111@verizon.net. He's a nice guy ----------------------------------
i can think of a number of things i'd prefer over a cluck-u, but thats just me.
i know i'm just peddling rumors here, but you know how we've all been pining for heller's to move in to first street and start selling us some donuts? well what if we got fractured prune instead? the color scheme looks like it could work...
i think some person make a paint on it..

ReplyDeletei am hope it's not gypsy to move in there!
ReplyDeleteI heard that the owner just painted to maybe try to get someone to lease it out. Just a rumor I heard.
ReplyDeleteThat looks remarkably similar to the color scheme used for most of the Cluck U locations...
ReplyDeleteBorat you are so funny. Cluck U wouldn't be too bad. Maybe they can get enough business to drive the Chinese take-out out of business.

ReplyDeleteof course, the place was painted red for a couple weeks too, so maybe they're just practicing their painting prowess there...
