There is no tenant lined up for 1822 1st Street NW, first floor. But one might project that the arrival of the Baraki upscale pizza restaurant/bar across the street will add appeal to this 1st & Seaton NW first floor space. So there might be more prospective tenants knocking at the door.
Rumor I heard is that the owners want partial ownership of any tenant's business. Unless they change their mind it's going to sit empty for a long time.

There probably isn't much happening here because someone painted the building next to it a ridiculous purple.
