ReplyDeleteMinimize parking lots maximize parks...
ReplyDeleteThis economy sucks and just proves why we need stores like Wal Mart in the city. It would help a lot of people get by easier. I know that's hard for some of you hipster wannabes to figure out.
ReplyDeletedo hipsters even read blogs anymore?
ReplyDeletei thought they were too busy drinking pbr and playing old atari games.
I went to the previous visioning meeting for the McMillan Site and encourage anyone who hasn't yet been to one of these meetings to go. There are some surprising pulls...not what you might expect (at least I didn't). For example, there was a huge presence from the surrounding medical community (how many hospitals do we have off of Michigan?) looking for more space.
ReplyDeleteI am generally pleased with the assembled team, which includes a strong historic pres component, and a retail advisory group with an urban focus.
Hold your breath people. This project will be a long ways off.
ReplyDeleteThe expression is "don't hold your breath"
ReplyDeleteWhen is the next meeting? Does anybody know?
ReplyDeletejanuary 24th. i'll have to look up the time.
