police activity last night around garages bounded by V, W, 1st & Flagler NW

See this 10/12/2010 message from a Flagler Place NW resident:

I don't know if you saw or heard anything about this, but there were several police cars and a van from the office of the medical examiner in the alley between W and V, 1st and Flagler NW last night around 5:30 pm for an hour or so. They appeared to be dealing with something in one of the garages in the alley.

We didn't get a great view, so are not sure what was going on, but it appeared something was happening.
