lost cat found; suggestion to cat owners to put collars on their cats

See this message from a Truxton Circle resident:

I just found a cat who is very sweet and clearly not feral. I don't want to bring him to the shelter, but I'm highly allergic, so I can't keep the little guy for long.

Here is an update from this same neighbor:

This might, however, be a good time to put in a plug for people to put a collar on their cats, even if they are indoor/outdoor cats. It would have saved the cat's owner a lot of anxiety, who was worried something had happened to it.
