"someone was walking across the roofs of houses on the unit block of Bryant St NW at 3 am"
See this message from 3:34 AM from a resident on the unit block of Bryant Street NW:
Tonight around 3am someone was walking across the roofs of houses on the unit block of Bryant St NW. I called the police and they immediately dispatched a few cars to the area, but I am not sure if anyone was apprehended. This should serve as a reminder to folks on the list to make sure that they keep the top floor windows and doors of their houses locked
Roof hatches too!! I know when we bought our house our hatch had no locks or impediment whatsoever for someone with the inclination to open it and enter through the attic. If you can't put locks on your hatch, you can build a sliding board or some sort of gateway from underneath and secure it to the roof beams and put locks on that so if someone opens your hatch, there is a secondary barrier to entry.
