Please Police your dogs [1 Attachment]
Dear Neighbors,
I'm recent weeks, we have noticed quite a few residents allowing their dogs to defecate on public and private property without removing the waste. Please pick up after your pet, and encourage your neighbors to do so as well. If you notice someone allowing their dog to defecate without picking it up, please remind them of the law or report them. Let's all be good neighbors, and keep our community clean!

DCMR is below regarding the dog issue.
900.7 No person owning, keeping, or having custody of a dog, except a seeing eye dog, shall allow or permit the dog to defecate or urinate on public parking or any sidewalk or in any and each such person shall immediately remove dog excrement from any curb, gutter, alley or street.
900.8 No person owning, keeping, or having custody of a dog, except a seeing eye dog, shall permit the dog's excrement to remain on private property without the consent of the owner or occupant of the property.
A Violation Citation (61-D),($25 fine) issued in lieu of an arrest. The officer must witness it.
