Dear Neighbors,

 

ANC 5C has allocated a set of dog-walker courtesy signs for deployment in SMD 5C03 to remind residents of leash laws and related pet etiquette. Thus far we`ve deployed signs at 1st & Randolph NW and in the small triangle park across the street from Big Bear Cafe.

  

Please email me suggestions for specific locations to post the remaining doggie signs on existing traffic-sign poles that fall within the boundaries of North Capitol Street, Florida Avenue NW, and Rhode Island Avenue NW.

  

We`ll also be back soon to deploy a few dispensers of doggie-waste collection bags, and we`re working to integrate plastic bag recycling stations into these doggie bag dispensers.
