National Symphony Orchestra (NSO) "In Your Neighborhood" series includes Bloomingdale's Horman Violin Studio

See this message from Bloomingdale resident and violinist Amy Beth Horman:

The NSO "In Your Neighborhood" Series includes our neighborhood this year so they will be doing multiple free events in January.  Here is the message that describes this series:

This year they chose us -- Horman Violin Studio -- as a studio they wanted work with, so we have two events designed for us exclusively in mid January!

NSO In Your Neighborhood 2013 Focuses on U Street, Howard University, Shaw, and Logan Circle

The National Symphony Orchestra is making U Street, Howard University, Shaw, and Logan Circle the focus of its free community engagement activities in January 2013. Between January 8 and 14, members of the NSO are breaking into small ensembles to perform chamber music and educational activities as requested by community organizations.
The NSO has worked with approximately 20 partners in these communities, and has agreed to fulfill more than 30 activities requested by the neighborhoods.
The majority of the schedule was determined by the community itself, with the partner organizations gathering requests from their neighborhoods.
