Regarding the new 8-unit condominium project at 151-155 V Street NW – it has been mentioned that the two adjacent lots were being combined into a single lot. Note that the lot merging in question does not require a zoning variance.
A neighbor asked this question: ``Does the process of combining or splitting lots require Zoning input?``

Property subdivisions are routinely handled by the Office of the Surveyor. If a subdivision requires variance relief (for example: the proposed lot(s) do not meet the minimum size requirements) from the Board of Zoning Adjustment (BZA) then the ANC would be notified about the hearing.
