ANC 5E votes to support the beer & wine liquor license for Meats and Foods

At tonight's ANC 5E meeting held at The Summit at St. Martin's Apartments on the 100 block of T Street NE in Eckington, ANC 5E voted to support the pursued liquor license for 13th Street Meats / Meats and Foods -- the "sausage store" -- coming to 247 Florida Avenue NW.

Business owner Scott McIntosh smiled after the commissioners took their vote! 
  
P.S.  There were presentations on the McMillan Sand Filtration site project as well at the ANC 5E meeting.  I assured Scott McIntosh that if indeed the sand filtration site were to get housing, that the new residents would include some sausage eaters.
