Bloomingdale Civic Association announces a Scholarship opportunity for two awards

See this message from the Bloomingdale Civic Association Scholarship Committee: 

The Bloomingdale Civic Association is delighted to announce the attached Scholarship opportunity for two awards ($1,250 each) for qualified students enrolled in an accredited college, university, or vocational-technical program for the Fall 2013 semester.

                                                                                                       

Each scholarship will be awarded based on meeting all guidelines for eligibility, accuracy of application, and quality of essay. Scholarship award will be disbursed by October 1, 2013, pending maintained enrollment.

                                                             

Application deadline: July 1, 2013

Winners to be announced at July 15,2013 BCA Meeting

     

ELIGIBLE APPLICANTS MUST:§ Currently reside within the District-recognized boundaries of Bloomingdale;
§ Be a member (or have a Parent/Guardian who is a member) of the Bloomingdale Civic Association at the time of application AND/OR be a student of McKinley or Dunbar H.S.;§ Have maintained a 2.5 or above grade point average for the most recently completed academic year;§ Be enrolled in an accredited college, university, or vocational-technical program for the Fall 2013 semester
