The
owner of Rafael Grocery & Deli (233 Florida Avenue, NW - between 2nd &
3rd Street NW) wants to say thank you to our community for their support over
the years. Kita, the owner, is a fixture on that block and has been for
decades. She knows a surprising number of her customers by name - although she
calls most of us "Baby". So this Saturday, please venture over to
Florida Avenue and say hello to one our longtime Bloomingdale business
owners.
