There is drug dealing going on at 1st and U. One block away so this can't be a shock that this is going on. Hope it motivates people to call when they see them out there dealing at 1st and U or in front of that blue colored store
Anyone know why the segway and bike cop patrols are no longer in the neighborhood? Their presence earlier this year curbed a lot of the yucky behavior at 1st and U.
For years there has been an open air drug market at the China Dragon (1st & Rhode Island). Heaps of people still go in and come out without any food containers. The shop keepers have been complicit in this and are known to sell individual cigarettes. If this is permitted to on Rhode Island Ave I have little hope for areas deeper in Bloomingdale that are off the high street.
Is that how the China Dragon stays open? I have never and will never buy anything out of there and was wondering how they could even stay in business. Looks like they got a little side business going there. Report them to DCRA or at least tell them about the cigarette sales. I am sure it is out of scope of their business license

ReplyDeleteIf anyone's dark blue bike was stolen Sunday night/Monday a.m., the frame may still be on the West side of First Street, just south of Michigan Ave.
ReplyDeleteAround 7 a.m., I jogged by a guy taking apart a bike and then later saw him riding away on his bike with two tires from the bike he disassembled.
oh no! time to buy the heavy chains and padlocks again and lock it all down!
