A
new Mexican restaurant from the owners of 1905 Bistro & Bar and Sticky Rice
DC is coming to the Bloomingdale neighborhood of Northwest D.C.
The
yet-to-be-named restaurant will open in summer 2014 at 108 Rhode Island Ave.
NW. Owners Tony Lucca and Phil Rodriguez plan a traditional Mexican menu with
Latin cocktails.
The
restaurant is still in its early planning stages, so details are few, but the
two partners said they have been waiting for an opportunity to pop up in the
neighborhood, where Rodriguez has been a resident for several years.
“Phil
has lived a block from the site of the new restaurant for almost a decade,
watching the community grow,” Lucca said in a statement.
hooray!!! This is awesome news. We need variety (no more coffee or pizza), and hopefully this will be real mexican food, all natural and healthy. There are some great tacqerias opening around 14th, so this is great to hear this coming to our neighborhood.
ReplyDeleteNow, we still need some personal fitness studios, a personal trainer or small gym in the bloomingdale district. It would be great to have someone open one soon.
