Director Howland,
As I explained during our earlier conversation, I and my staff have received a number of complaints from Truxton Circle and Bloomingdale residents about trash pick-up. Specifically, DPW has not serviced those neighborhoods in two weeks. You are certainly aware of the potentially negative health and quality of life issues associated with overflowing trash cans. We need this matter resolved as quickly as possible.
I am in receipt of Mr. Twines email sent at 2:05 pm today. However, I would like you to advise me in writing, within the hour, of the specific plan you will implement to address this problem.
