Suspects Sought in First Degree Sexual Abuse: North Capitol Street and Florida Avenue, NW

(Washington, DC)- The Metropolitan Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying and locating two suspects in connection with a First Degree Sexual Abuse which occurred in the area of North Capitol Street and Florida Avenue, NW.

On Wednesday, January 8, 2014, between 9:00 pm and 10:00 pm, an adult female was walking in the area when she was approached by an unknown male.  The suspect pushed the victim to the ground and sexually assaulted her. He then fled in a vehicle that was waiting nearby.

The first suspect is described as a black male, dark complexion, 6’0” in height, medium to heavy build, in his late 20s to early 30s, with a small afro.

The vehicle is described as a turquoise 4-door sedan with heavily tinted windows, possibly a Nissan or a Honda.  It has a dent on the driver’s side and it was occupied by a second unknown male. The second male is described as a black male, short in height, light complexion, slim build, short haircut, 20 - 30 years of age.
