Hey Bloomingdale!!!
As you may know, Vicky Leonard of Flagler Place and I are running for positions on the DC Democratic State Committee. We are proud to be a part of THE RENT IS TOO DARN HIGH slate. I hope you will come out to our campaign kick off event at Dahlak (1771 U St NW) this Thursday. Our slate is made up of small business owners, community organizers, policy advocates, artists and more from all over DC. We believe the Democratic party can do and be better.
Please join us as we kick off our campaign for an open, honest and engaged Democratic party and a higher standard of accountability and ethics for our elected officials. We are the largest slate of candidates on the primary ballot for the DC Democratic State Committee.
We hope you can make it to Dahlak and talk with us and our fellow slate members. And we'd very much appreciate any support you can show our effort by making a donation or volunteering your time (passing out flyers on your block would be great!).
Our slate came together knowing that our party can do and be better and that an important step was to get more DC residents involved. Come to Dahlak on Thursday the 27th at 6:00 PM (1771 U St NW) to meet the candidates, hear what they stand for, tell us what you want, and find out how YOU can join the effort.
