May 9-11, 2014: Practicing Presence: Teachings in Yoga, Meditation, and Thai Massage.
Join 500 hour certified yoga teachers Gracy Obuchowicz and Julia Romano for a weekend of ease and peace for body and mind in the West Virginia countryside.
Cultivating relationships -- within our self, and with others -- means practicing gentleness, patience, and sweet, ever-blossoming presence.
Retreat for an early summer weekend to the fresh greens and blues of West Virginia nature. While breathing in cool, clean mountain air, we'll integrate yoga asana practices with meditation and Thai massage teachings to help cultivate a relationship within and with others.
New to yoga, meditation, or Thai massage? Super! This is a weekend for all levels, all interests.
Come as you are!
A few words on Thai Massage:
Steeped in Asian wisdom and the yogic practice, Thai yoga therapy combines meditative breathing, deep stretching and the heart energy of metta (love). It is a practice that is healing and grounding for both the giver and the receiver As we give massage, we receive the connection of being fully present with positive intention for another person. As we receive massage, we accept the loving touch that brings us to a place of balance in ourselves and with the world around us.
