No, not the Wizards game, silly -
the Zoning Commission hearing!
All this talk about Zoning hearings on McMillan got you down?
Join me “in the alley” at Boundary Stone to have a fun chat about the McMillan,
Snacks - not dinner! - will be offered by me
Drinks are on your own
This is not a Friends of McMillan event
This is not a VMP or Neighbors for McMillan event
This is a chance to have a friendly chat with your Bloomingdale neighbors about McMillan. You can even talk about the Wizards or the First Street Tunnel, or just say hi.
Then on Tuesday...
You can attend the Zoning hearing
and keep up with the game on your phone.
You can stay home, watch the game on tv
and watch the hearing on your laptop.
You can go out to watch the game
and watch the hearing online at a later time.
But what you need to do before the hearing is to send your testimony to the Zoning Commission. This is your chance to be heard. You can write a short letter or a dissertation. You can sign and send in a form letter - both supporters and opponents have shared form letters with their constituencies. Just speak now so the Zoning Commission knows what you, a resident of Bloomingdale, has to say.
