Washington Firehouse restaurant opening in Bloomingdale, Dickey's to Chantilly

Coming soon to an 1895 firehouse on North Capitol Street: Washington Firehouse, a steakhouse and bar from the owners of Shaw’s Tavern.
The restaurant will feature a “classic American” menu from Executive Chef Peter Prime, including pizza, steaks and sandwiches, according to its Facebook page. ...
The restaurant and bar will be large, with a seating capacity of more than 300. There will also be an outdoor patio facing Quincy St. NW that will seat 80, according to the restaurant’s liquor license.

    So is it open or just saying it is planning to open? I see a lot of future tense, but no firm opening date.
    Facebook says it is open right now.

    I don't think I'll believe it until I can go inside and order a meal. I've been waiting for the Firehouse since I was pregnant with child #2 (who is now an 8 y.o.). ;)
