Second Arrest Made in 1996 Homicide
Unit Block of Rhode Island Avenue, Northwest
   
(Washington, DC) – Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Homicide Branch announced an arrest has been made in the 1996 homicide of 19 year-old Michael Davy, which occurred on Monday, February 19, 1996 at approximately 10:42 pm, in the unit block of Rhode Island Avenue, NW.  The cause of death was determined to be multiple gunshot wounds and the manner of death was ruled a homicide.

On Monday, February 19, 1996, at approximately 10:42 pm, police officers of the Fifth District responded to a residence, in the unit block of Rhode Island Avenue, NW, where 19 year-old Michael Davy of Northwest, Washington, DC was located inside suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. He was later pronounced dead.

On Wednesday, September 17, 2014, at approximately 10:25 pm, police officers from the Fourth District arrested 44-year-old Curtis Farmer, of Northwest and charged him with First Degree Felony Murder While Armed in connection to the shooting death of Michael Davy.

On Thursday, September 18, 2014, at approximately 1:14 pm, members of the Capitol Area Regional Fugitive Task Force arrested 39 year-old Alexander Passee, of Bowie, Maryland, and charged him with Murder I while Armed in connection to the shooting death of Michael Davy.
