"Sunset Over Crispus Attucks Park" cocktail party fundraiser -- Sunday, 10-26-2014

Find Your NEEDFUL THING at this year’s Sunset Cocktails Over Crispus Attucks Park!
                          

In addition to great food and libations, this year’s fundraiser will also have a raffle with lots of great stuff. So great in fact there may be a Needful Thing in there for everyone! Thanks to our super generous community, this year’s items include:
               

- A giant 17 million year old fossil scallop shell. It looks like something out of 20,000 leagues under the sea! It will look beautiful over anyone’s fireplace mantel, in a display case or etc. (Note: Item comes with background on origin, species, and etc)
             

- A bronze replica of 4^th Century Japanese Samurai Kusunoki Masashige, who is remembered as having embodied Samurai loyalty.
               

- A signed copy of S Street Rising by Ruben Castaneda, who tells his story as a reporter working for the Washington Post during Washington DC’s crack epidemic. The catch? Ruben was himself secretly addicted to crack.
               

… and we of course have several other high quality knickknacks in this year’s raffle.
