Dear Friends and Partners:

As we keep it moving, working in collaboration with the North Capital Street and Rhode Island Ave Ecumenical Council, Mclean Bible Church, Department of Youth Services Just FRIENDS Chaplain's office, we look forward to sponsoring the following two holiday rallies:

  • On Saturday, November 22nd we will sponsor our Community Worship Service which will be held at Mt Pleasant Baptist Church located at 215 Rhode Island Ave. NW.  The service will include giving away Thanksgiving baskets to families in need and the service starts at 10:00am; and registration check in is at 9:00am.  We ask that families bring their children to register them to receive toys at our December 20th  Toy Give Away Rally being held at Mckinley Technology High School located at 151 T. Street NE. in the gym.,
  • On Saturday, December 20th, we will sponsor our Toy Give Away Rally which is designed to provide toys to children for Christmas.  Doors will open at 8:30am and check in will allow parents to register thier children for toys.
We suggest that families coming to both rallies come early, for Thanksgiving Baskets and Toys
are given out on a first come, first to receive basis . !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Donations:.
If you would like to adopt a child and purchase a gift, or make a tax deductible donation, such giving would be tax deductible and would make a child very happy.  Financial donations should be made out to World Missions.

Prayer Focus for Schools:
Our prayer focus is to pray for God's blessing upon our efforts and our prayer day is on Mondays.  Please feel free to join us, and we look forward to seeing you at both rallies.  Thanks for sharing this information with other families .

Be safe,
