Just a short note to say that my roommate's car was broken into last night. He was parked in the unit block of W almost at the corner of 1st Street (and right under a street lamp). It appears to have been a standard "smash and grab" and the perpetrators weren't exactly smart.
The whole incident makes me sick, but it serves as a reminder that we must remain vigilant against criminal elements that like to roam the neighborhood looking for opportunity...the bastards.
