Jair Lynch puts McMillan project back before the D.C. Zoning Commission

Jair Lynch Development Partners is back before the D.C. Zoning Commission with its final plan for one of two mixed-use residential over retail buildings it proposes to build on the McMillan Sand Filtration site.
  
The 2 million-square-foot McMillan project involves three developers — Jair Lynch, EYA and Trammell Crow — and the District constructing medical office space, mixed-use multifamily, townhomes and civic uses into the 25-acre former water filtration plant bound by Michigan Avenue, Channing Street, North Capitol Street and First Street Northwest. The overall site has been carved up into seven parcels.
                                                          
While most of the development planned for McMillan received final approval from the commission last June in the form of a consolidated planned-unit development, the Parcel 2 project from Jair Lynch was not as far along design-wise. It was submitted as a first stage PUD, which required a second stage, submitted on June 8.

  1. so come on out and testify for the "Monstrosity on Michigan Avenue", years of carbon emitting demo and million tons of concrete,, cause no body else is at the hearings,50,000 auto trips a day on N.Capitol, 8000 on First St, one more car every 9 seconds, 3000 parking spaces, at the highest level of air pollution measured in DC, great for asthma too.,Chairman Mendelson says the community is divided,, so where is the other half..a pitiful minority supports this monstrous abuse of democracy and land give away to corporate welfare,,even Cheryl Cort of the smallest Coalition for Smarter Growth, the human appendage of Jair Lynch and EYA, has not testified, Where did the appendage go?
