A BIG shoutout to all who attended the Humanities Showcase in support of the BLOOMINGDALE VILLAGE SQUARE PROJECT.  The efforts of the BVS Committee were absolutely awesome and enabled us to present a 40 minute oral history videotape, a 25-slide power point of design proposals for the 1st and Rhode Island area, a Project Overview brochure that includes the project's proposed 'next steps', an Architectural and Design brochure that explains our approach to these issues, and a booklet of a greatly expanded version of the Bloomingdale History Timeline.

            

We plan on sharing all of this information and getting your feedback in the near future at a community forum 

    

In the meanwhile, this weekend, pick up a copy of the MIDCITY DC NEWS (available free at Windows Cafe) and read Ellen Boomer's article on the Bloomingdale Village Square Project.
