newly bricked alley between R & Quincy NW: request to neighbors to sweep the sand between the bricks + more

See this message from a resident on the unit block of R Street NW, southside:

The alley between R St. and Quincy NW is finally finished and it looks beautiful. 

If neighbors living on that block could spend a few minutes sweeping the sand between the bricks this beautiful week-end coming up, it will stay clean and last a lot longer.  And the neighbors want folks to start taking their trash cans in between pick-up and are working with the City to enforce the rules, so this is just a heads up.   

It's beautiful and clean - let's keep it that way as if may be another 40 years before it's resurfaced - again!
