Bloomingdale residents might have interest in a meeting this Wednesday evening, 12-09-2015, at the 1st & P Street NW charter school regarding the development of the vacant lot at 1520-1522 North Capitol Street NW, owned by DMPED.

The two development teams vying for the development project are Cycle House and Lofts of Truxton Circle.

See this message from one of the two development teams that are completing for the issued RFP:

We will be presenting our Proposal for 1520 N. Capitol site at the ANC 5E meeting this Wednesday, Dec. 9 at the Friendship-Armstrong Public Charter School.  We think that this will be the last public presentation for the project and are hopeful that DMPED will make their selection reasonably soon after the meeting.  Please spread the word to anyone in the neighborhood who you think might be interested in attending to listen or voice their input on the two proposed developments.
