Subject: 4-Session Urban Herbal Gardening Apprentice Program at Common Good City Farm

Begins June 1st !

Compliment your herbal studies with hands-on growing and harvesting experience, and create deep bonds with medicinal plants by interacting with them as they grow. Over these four summer evenings at the farm, you’ll learn basic botany and gardening techniques, you’ll take home seedlings to start your own garden if you like, and you’ll harvest a lot of plants to create teas, oils, and tinctures.

Some of the 50 medicinal herbs growing on the farm include holy basil, boneset, calamus, mugwort, passionflower, nettles, comfrey, yarrow, angelica, and so many mints!

Herbalist Tricia McCauley is a longtime Bloomingdale resident, and has been growing and tending the herbs at Common Good City Farm for 7 seasons.

Wednesdays 6:30-8pm, June 1, June 15, July 13, and August 10. This program is sponsored by Sky House Yoga; cost is $180, or $120 for Sky House Herbal Apprentices & graduates.
