alley between the unit blocks of T & Rhode Island Avenue NW getting repaved in brick

It is official!  After 10 years of phone calls, emails   the taking  and sending of dozens of photos,

and Mayor's and Councilman's walks, the unit block of T Street is finally getting its north alley RE-PAVED IN BRICK!  Special kudos to the Neighbors of the Unit Block of T St. NW, Rosalie Tucci   Zach Sheriff, Tommie Jones of the Mayor's Office and Laisha Dougherty of Councilman McDuffie's office. Often it does  take a village. I am also trying to get the easement at the end of the alley paved so that some of the residents on both Rhode Island  and T St.  can  more easily get their super cans to the main Alley. Work should begin in 6-8 weeks.   When completed there will be a ribbon-cutting  and celebration!
