Eckington Civic Association votes against continuing its pursuit of neighborhood Historic District designation ~
At tonight's well attended Eckington Civic Association, a vote was taken on whether to continue pursuing neighborhood Historic District designation.
The vote was not to continue. So that effort is now halted.
Moreover, there was a subsequent vote to remove "historic preservation" from the bylaws of the Eckington Civic Association altogether. That vote was successful.
