? 5D National Night Out and traffic calming/traffic mitigation efforts ...?

has anyone suggested traffic-calming steps on 1st Street other than the traffic circle at V? I don't like the idea of a traffic circle because I think it helps only one intersection. I would support having more intersections with traffic lights.

I am not sure that DDOT traffic calming, etc. would be best addressed by the National Night Out event.

The Bloomingdale Civic Association is looking at traffic calming and other traffic mitigation efforts as the DC Water 1^st Street Tunnel project in Bloomingdale wraps up.
