Hello and Happy Friday,

This note is a reminder of the series of Block Meetings (schedule attached) that we are holding in the next month along the alignment of the Northeast Boundary Tunnel (NEBT) Project.  Our design and construction teams will review what you can expect to occur in your neighborhood and listen to your feedback and local concerns.

Also, attached are the invitations that we are distributing to surrounding residents and businesses for the first 2 block meetings next week. Please feel free to share with all who may be interested.

We hope to see you there.

Thank you!

- Joan

Good afternoon, community members!

DC Water’s Clean Rivers Project Public Outreach Team will set up table/poster boards and provide handouts at local CSAs to illustrate to adjacent residents and business owners what will actually be constructed in their local neighborhoods. This will provide an opportunity for attendees to ask questions about current utility relocations work and visualize what to expect during NEBT construction, expected to start in late 2017. We hope you or a representative can attend to provide feedback and local knowledge to the design team for community mitigation. Staff will also be collecting contact information for our project stakeholder outreach database and for future Tunnel Forums.
