we at The Unified Scene Theater (80 T Street NW, Bloomingdale) think they do.

Your Feature Troupes/Shows: Tom-WaitsProv & Power-Point Karaoke
Tom-WaitsProv: Those of you who know who Tom Waits is need no introduction; for those of you who don't, he's a singer-songwriter who's made a musically profiling the down-and-outs & wastrels of society in his trademark gravelly voice. In fact, Heath Ledger did a fantastic (Academy-Award nominated, in fact) impersonation of him for his version of The Joker in "The Dark Knight." Tonight at The Unified Scene Theater, we're bringing Tom Waits back: Everyone performing on this show will be doing an impersonation of Tom Waits. Darkness, moodiness, surliness, growling & mumbling, and twitchiness guaranteed.
Power Point Karaoke: we grab a Power-Point deck, one never-before-seen by the improvisational actor, who then proceeds to BS their way through. You know, kind of what you already do at work.
Your Headliner Troupe: NIXON
NIXON's three-member long-form improv troupe ill take you on a fast-paced high octane long form improv comedy journey through anything and everything you can imagine. These three veteran improvisers have performed improv, stand-up, and sketch for sold out crowds all across the DC area. Come see them join forces to create improv gold!
