Bloomingdale Small Diameter Water Main Replacement
Project Public Informational Meeting
|
|
|
|
|
As part of its Capital Improvement Program DC
Water has begun the replacement of the existing 8 and 12-inch
cast iron water mains in the Bloomingdale area. These efforts
will improve water quality, system reliability, and increase
water pressure.
The scope of work also includes replacing service lines (lead
and/or other) in public space, at no cost to area homeowners.
Additionally, for those properties with lead service lines on
their private property DC Water can simultaneously replace the
service lines, if the homeowner elects to participate. However,
private side service line replacement will be the financial
responsibility of the homeowner.
Don’t miss this opportunity to receive more information on this
project and learn how you can participate in the lead service
line replacement program. Please see meeting information below:

Hi Scott -
ReplyDeleteI am a journalism student at Georgetown and I am working on a capstone project that focuses on the DIY (Do it Yourself) music scene.
One of the venues I am profiling is located in Bloomingdale;
I would be interested in knowing how community association works with resident artists and neighbors to balance the needs of both?
I would only need a few minutes of your time and can email you the questions in advance if that is helpful.
Thank you for your assistance,
Julian Notaro
