Thank you for the information!  DC Water sure has a lot going on.

On one hand, that's a relief.  On the other, Flagler has only been open for about 6 weeks.  We've endured too much through the FST. Is there any way to finish this up before January 10?  Are all of these Flagler overnight parking restrictions really absolutely necessary?

I'm including Ms. Hedgepeth on this email.

Thanks,

-A

Marine Technologies is working on the Northeast Boundary Sewer Main Inspection project. Attached is a project information sheet. We’ve asked the project manager to please distribute project information to the residents in your area.

In the meantime, Tanya Hedgepeth, Construction Outreach Coordinator, Department of External Affairs, will answer your questions about this project—Tanya.Hedgepeth@dcwater.com.

To the extent it helps, the permit number on the emergency no parking sign is PA10355765

As an update, Marine Technologies was apparently working in the sewers at Flagler and W St last night.  So, they really are doing work overnight?  I also saw one of their pick up trucks speeding the wrong way up Flagler last evening at 10 p.m.

Can anyone tell us what is going on?

Thanks,

Hadiah - Per our call last week, you couldn't identify Marine Technologies.  They are showing up with big trucks, apparently to scuba dive into the tunnels.  The no parking signs in Flagler go through January 10 and say no overnight parking.  Can you follow up on this again?

Good afternoon, A.

There are no expected parking impacts on Flagler Place. The cranes were used on V Street. The construction crew will provide a 72 hour No Parking notice if they determine a need on Flagler. The testing will be completed next week, no later than December 23.

Thank you for following up with me.

Hadiah --

There are no parking signs from "Marine Technologies" running through January 10 on the 2200 Block of Flagler.  Could you clarify?  Is the testing lasting every day for a month?

Needless to say, after just getting our street back, that would be unacceptable.  I have a two year old and an infant and I need to access Flagler every day.  It was 20 degrees today and I do not want to walk to an APA any more.  We just had some semblance of normal after 3 years...such a long time would be intolerable.
