Subject: Bloomingdale - Saturday Shut off Cancellation

Good Morning,

I was just given notification that the shut off for Saturday, January 28th has been cancelled and is tentatively rescheduled for Monday, January 30th. This should not postpone the Feb 3rd completion date. I will let you know if anything changes.

Thanks, Tanya

Subject: Bloomingdale SDWMR Project Update

Good Morning Bloomingdale Community,

As you know, we are nearing the end of the Small Diameter Water Main Replacement Project. I wanted to give you a status update on the work. The team will be performing the final water main connections this week. There is a scheduled water shut-off planned for this Saturday, January, 28, 2017. The following addresses will be impacted and they will be notified in advance: block of 2200 1st St NW (2203 to 2235) and block of 10 W St NW (1 to 83).

The construction work will be concluded by February 3, 2017. However, you will notice the roadways will not have a final paving over them. Per DDOT regulations we will not be permitted to perform the final restoration until the Spring. We estimate performing the final restoration sometime in April.

We are planning a final community meeting that is tentatively scheduled for Thursday, February 16, 2017 from 7 to 8:30pm at St. George’s Episcopal Church. The meeting will be held to discuss the remaining punch list items and final restoration, among other items. Once the meeting logistics are finalized we will send out the meeting flyer.

Thank you for your patience and understanding during this project. If you have any questions or concerns please let me know.
