This is an important message from the District of Columbia AlertDC system.
     
DC Water reports the emergency water outage in the 100 block of Adams Street NW between 1st Street & Flagler Place NW. Repairs are in progress and expected to take 6-8 hours for restoration. 30 homes are affected.

DC Water also has emergency work on Adams between 2nd and Flagler. They told me they'd be done by 3 or 4 today but the water is still off.

    Water is not turned back on, and they are gone for the day. Why am I not surprised?
