Owl's Nest Farm has CSA* shares available now!  As a CSA member, you'll receive a wide variety of delicious, nutritious vegetables, strawberries, melons, and herbs, all grown on our small farm just 15 miles from DC. 

Convenient CSA option for Bloomingdale residents! Weekly pick-up location is at Big Bear Cafe.                  

·  Bloomingdale Pick-up: Thursdays, 5:30pm - 7:00pm at Big Bear Cafe

·  Shares include 8-10 items  For 2-5 of the items, you'll usually have a choice, i.e. radishes or turnips. See sample shares from our 2016 season here.

·  We're Certified Naturally Grown, which means we don't use any chemical fertilizers, pesticides, or herbicides.

·  Cost for a full share option is $675 and a half share is $340. It works out to about $30 per week.

*What's a CSA? Community Supported Agriculture, or CSA, is a produce subscription program where eaters pay in advance and get a share of the produce grown on the farm throughout the season. Put another way, a CSA is a relationship between eaters, farmers and the land in which everyone shares the risks and rewards of farming. You're supporting a local farm and getting lots of delicious, nutritious vegetables in return!
