Welcome RonDell!

RonDell, joining Common Good as Farm Manager, is a 4th generation Washington, DC resident. He holds a certificate in Commercial Urban Agriculture, as well as Agroecology. With experience recruiting, training, and directing over 2000 volunteers, interns and trainees, RonDell is committed to helping create a world full of productive and environmentally harmonic greenspaces. He has already begun putting his skills to work in the greenhouse and on the farm and we are all looking forward to a great season.


Join Our 2017 CSA
Applications for the 2017 Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) season will be accepted now through March 10th. Our 2017 CSA season will be 20 weeks long with an option to add 4 more weeks in the spring (spaces for the add-on are limited). Shares will be available for pickup from the farm each week on a designated day. We offer a full price and income qualifying CSA share. The income qualifying share is for participants who make less than the DC Living Wage (see application for more details).

Save the Date ~ Season Opener Saturday, April 15th 

We will be kicking off the growing season with our annual Season Opener event on Saturday, April 15th.  This fun and free family event will include farm tours, children's activities, food, and our first Farm Stand of the season.  Mark your calendars and stay tuned for more information. 


Field Trip Registration Open

Work with a school or youth program?  You're invited to the farm for a field trip this Spring.  We host field trips Tuesday and Wednesday mornings starting April 11 and going through the school year.  Field trips last 1.5 hours, can accommodate up to 25 students and are available for classes of all ages.
