El Camino offers new weeknight specials in Bloomingdale

EL CAMINO OFFERS NEW WEEKNIGHT SPECIALS IN BLOOMINGDALE

Bloomingdale, DC – March 2017 – El Camino (www.elcaminodc.com) is excited to announce a new series of special food & drink offerings on weeknights that include something for just about everyone – from families to taco feasters.

“For the past two years, El Camino has quietly been feeding the taco hungry residents and visitors to the Bloomingdale neighborhood,” says owner/operating partner Tony Lucca. “We thought it might be fun to add a few new items to the menu each week to mix things up a bit for both the kitchen and our guests.”

In addition to its twice daily Happy Hours on week nights (5-7pm & 10:30pm-close) and Late Night Tacos & Burritos every night of the week (Sunday - Thursday from 10:30-11:30pm; Friday & Saturday from 11:30pm-12:30am), the restaurant now offers the following specials:

Margarita Mondays

In addition to discounted house margaritas ($5 each), El Camino’s bar staff mixes up two premium margaritas ($8 each) that are only available on Monday nights and will change out each month. March’s margaritas include a Mango Margarita made with Sauza Blue tequila and fresh mango puree, and a smoky Mezcal Margarita using Fidencio Clasico and a spicy rim.

Tacos & Tequila Tuesdays

Taco Tuesday will never be the same. Each month, the kitchen adds two off-the-menu tacos on Tuesday nights in addition to the regular selections like lengua, carne asada, and mushroom. Taco Tuesday specials in March are a delicious Duck Carnitas Taco with red radish, red cabbage, jalapeño, onion, cilantro, and a tomatillo salsa, and a Blackened Catfish Taco with onion, carrot, and cilantro. Also on Tuesday nights, if you buy a pitcher of margaritas, your next pitcher is half price (frozen or on the rocks)!

Family Night – Every Wednesday

Kids are always welcome at El Camino, but now children eat free on Wednesday nights with their parents (one free kid's meal per paying adult). The kitchen also offers a selection of family-style dishes big enough for the whole family to share. Each $30 Family Meal features a choice of fajitas, enchiladas, tortas or quesadillas, plus chips & salsa, a salad, rice, and beans. 

All You Can Eat Tacos on Thursdays

Think you can eat your weight in tacos? Guests are invited to bring their appetites with them on Thursday nights when you can mix and match as many tacos as you can eat for just $17 per person all night long. The special also comes with a side of bottomless black beans and rice just in case.
