If you read Kim Williams' article, it offers hints of what information is available on HistoryQuest. One example she uses is a search for houses built by Thomas Haislip, who lived at First and V. (He also hosted meetings of the Bloomingdale and LeDroit Park Citizens' Association.) I didn't realize that he had built so many houses in Bloomingdale - he died in 1903 at the age of 37.
